Developing Your Project

We’re excited to let you know that we’re launching a four-month, intensive development programme for Dark Angels who either want to get going with a big personal project – for example, a novel, memoir, collection of essays or non-fiction book – or already have something under way and would like some support.

Jamie and Richard will be hosting space for six writers to come together online for encouragement, constructive feedback, and a community to ride shotgun as you figure things out.

The Particulars
- you’ll meet once a month, over four months, for two hours in the group
- you’ll have two hour-long, one-to-one sessions with either Jamie or Richard to discuss work-in-progress submitted
- you’ll work with another member of the group in-between times

Encouragement, camaraderie, magic
You’ll have the support of five fellow writers (plus two tutors) as you tackle the challenges and experience the joys of moving forward with a big personal writing project.You’ll discuss key elements such as structure and voice, setting and characterisation. You’ll look at ways to approach your writing regime. You’ll work with a writing ‘buddy’ to help you make real progress over the four months. And, of course, there’ll be a good dose of Dark Angels warmth and magic!
